About Chelsea Joy
Holistic Counsellor & Mental Health Leader since 2016
Designing and facilitating mental health and mindfulness classes, workshops and retreats for a number of governmental and community service organisations alongside private businesses looking to promote cohesiveness within their teams. My counselling and healing practice is located in Mosman, Sydney, NSW.
My experience spans a number of ongoing contracts and services including the following: maintaining a studio for individual counselling services and holistic treatments; designing somatic movement classes for physically and mentally disabled young adults for City of Gosnells in Perth and implementing mindfulness programs for disadvantaged women and their children with Women's Health & Wellbeing Services.
I have also created weekly yoga and breathwork programs for young children in partnership with primary schools and wellness centres; facilitating weekly meditation and yoga sessions for corporate employees at Bankwest and Qantas business class lounge; and developing mindfulness sessions for groups of prisoners soon-to-be reintegrated back into society.
The primary intention of all of my programs is creating a safe, purely non-judgemental environment for people to find peace, clarity and empowerment through holistic and complementary mental healthcare.
