🇺🇸 Lessons from America and Australia 🇦🇺

Living in Australia for nine years taught me humility, the value of taking it easy, to see everyone on the same level - from the janitor to my billionaire boss - because they see a person as a human regardless of profession.

Australia taught me that a country exists which actually takes care of its people, it taught me to dissolve a bit of the American over-the-top energy and act more genuine and natural. It means I can feel comfortable when introverting.

Living in America for 19 years taught me resilience and strength, because you must have it to survive there. It taught me perseverance, willpower and dedication as it’s so professionally competitive you have to study and then work until you’re close to dropping to prove yourself. If you’re not doing overtime and working weekends, and you actually take your holidays, then you’re not working hard enough.

America taught me to be a good presenter and public speaker as the culture values extroversion, so we raise our kids to shine their light as individuals and be brave. It’s even written in the national anthem: “land of the free and home of the brave!”

I try to take the best from both worlds ☺️
